Day 1 Arrival at the International airport La Aurora in Guatemala City. Private transportation and overnight stay in a hotel in Guatemala City.
Day 2 Private transportation from Guatemala City to the Guatemalan Western Highlands with visits to IXIMCHE and the vil lage of SAN ANDRES XECUL After lunch free time in Xela.
Day 3 At 11am a private transportation between Xela and Nebaj with optional visits (for example the Post classic Mayan ruins of Zaculeu, Huehuetenango, Aguacatan and river San Juan, Sacapulas and its salt mines, etc). Definitely a nice route to take!
Day 4-6 Today starts a hike from Nebaj to Todos Santos, three full days through the highest mountains in Central America, ending in Todos Santos Cuchumatanes.
Day 7 (Saturday = market day ) Visit the market of Todos Santos Cuchumatanes, just enjoy it! At 11am a private transporta tion from Todos Santos to Xela.
Day 8 A free day in Xela. There are many options, like hot springs or markets (today is market day in Cantel, San Cristobal, Totonicapan and Momostenango).
Day 9-13 Free days in Xela to see the many sites in and around this beautiful city. Day 14-16 A three day hike from Xela to the lake of Atitlán. After the Hike , you can rest in PANAJACHEL or one of the sur rounding villages as many days as you want . This program ends in PANAJACHEL on day 16. On day 17 we will bring you back straight to the International airport in GUATEMALA CITY for you flight out.
