Day 1 Depart from Guatemala City to San Salvador. Shuttle service to your hotel. Depart in the afternoon for a city tour. You will visit the most important monuments, public squares, and buildings of San Salvador, including the historic downtown. After a tour, you will enjoy a typical dinner. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2 Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will visit Joya De Ceren and the San Andres Pyramid. Stop for lunch in Santa Ana. In the afternoon you will visit the archeological sites of Casa Blanca & Tazumal. After this, return to San Salvador for overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3 After breakfast, tour through the countryside for a visit to Izalco, the city of Sonsonate, Nahuizalco and Apaneca. Also free time to visit a coffee plantation in Juayua. Overnight stay in Apaneca.
Day 4 Today we will visit National Park El Imposible Mountain Forest, with a wide variety of wildlife. Return to San Salvador with overnight stay.
Day 5 After breakfast, we head to Ilobasco. Here you will have the opportunity to visit workshops and buy some handi crafts. Then we will visit Suchitoto, also known as “The Old City” because of its old buildings, stone paved streets and its passive citizens. Lunch with a beautiful view over the lake from the restaurant. Overnight stay in Suchitoto.
Day 6 After breakfast we will depart for Costa del Sol Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in El Salvador. Here you will have free time. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 7 Today we will head back to El Salvador, to have a flight to Guatemala City. From here, we go to Antigua by shuttle service. Afternoon is free to visit Antigua. Overnight stay in Antigua.
Day 8 We will go to Panajachel by shuttle service. After lunch we will visit Lake Atitlán for the whole day. By private boat we will visit the surrounding villages as well. Overnight stay in Panajachel.
Day 9 Today there is a free day in Panajachel to enjoy the village and the lake.
Overnight in the Jungle, nearby the Lake Petexbatun .
Day 10 From Panajachel, we will go to Quetzaltenango. After lunch, we will visit the villages Almolonga, Zunil and the hot springs Fuentes Georginas. Overnight stay in Quetzaltenango.
Day 11 (Sunday)In the morning, we will visit the village of Momostenango, with its market. After returning to Quet zaltenango, you have a free afternoon.
Day 12 Today we leave early morning by straight shuttle to Guatemala City. We fly to Flores, and visit the National Park of Tikal for the whole day. Overnight stay in Tikal.
Day 13 In the morning we will visit the archeological site of Aguateca. After lunch we go to Cobán, where the village and Maya ruins can be visited. Overnight stay in Cobán.
Day 14 From Cobán, we will go to Río Dulce. We continue per boat to Livingston and its beaches. The rest of the day is free.
Day 15 From Livingston, we have a shuttle to Copán (Honduras) and see the Maya Ruins with a guided tour. After lunch we will continue to Antigua. Free afternoon in Antigua with overnight stay.
Day 16 After breakfast you will be brought to La Aurora Airport, Guatemala City.
