On this tour, we head to the town of Chiantla, a city founded in 1540 when the Dominicans began to assemble the country's population into villages.
Opposite the central park is the sanctuary of the Virgin of Candelaria, or Our Lady of Silver. Many have made the pilgrimage to Chiantla due to the many miracles attributed to her, as well as to admire her colonial dress of silver. After visiting the city, we go to the top of the Cuchumatanes, with a height of 3,000 meters, where we experience one of the most stunning views in Guatemala. From this viewpoint, you can appreciate some of the volcanoes and the valley of Huehuetenango.
