Takalik Abaj is one of the oldest archeological sites in Guatemala. Here you will find a combination of Olmec-Mayan ruins in the middle of a subtropical forest. Unique for this site are the river-shaped stones that were used in all their constructions. The mystics of the great civilizations that inhabited the area are well preserved at the National Park Takalik Abaj and are waiting for you to be explored.
