Finca Filadelfia biomes are divided into shade-grown coffee forests, dry forests, pine-oak forests and cloud forests. The tour begins in the center of the Finca, where a trucks will take you to cloud forest. From there you will hike to the highest point of the mountain, known as La Rueda. You then descend the forest on wide and paved trails, through the dense natural forest vegetation where “aguacatillo” and oak predominate. In this area, we have seen endemic species to the region as Hummingbirds, Warblers, Trogons, Sparrows, Thrushes, etc. Going further, the most common and special birds to see are the Blue-throated Motmot, Bar-winged Oriole, Emerald Toucanet, Lesser Road Runner, Occelated Quail, Resplendent Quetzal, Black-throated Jay, Mottled Owl, etc.
